sergiy myakushko visits sdioi

may 24, 2015. accompanied with liu chunlin, deputy director of technological cooperation division of shandong sci-tec department, sergiy myakushko，director of international cooperation department of ukraine academy of sciences(uas), volodymyr artiushenko，vice-president of china cooperation department of ukraine came to visit sdioi. dierctor zhang tao, deputy director li min and jiang renhao attended the symposium. director zhang welcomed the coming of the delegation, and expressed interest in further cooperation with other institutes of uas, besides the cooperation on welding. after a brief introduction of sdioi on research and international cooperation, especially the cooperation with ukraine, director myakushiko had a deeper understanding of sdioi and wished further cooperation on welding. director myakushiko said, the cooperation between sdioi and ukraine academy of sciences should not be limited to barton welding institute, he also expressed willingness in helping sdioi build cooperation with geo-physics institute of ukraine academy of sciences, and hoped to help launch cooperation on ship-building through uas’s relationship with the city of nikolayev. after the symposium, the delegation visited marine welding technology lab of sdioi and watched live presentation of underwater wet welding technology.
